Robert is a member in good standing of: National Association of Realtors®, Maryland Association of Realtors®, Frederick County Association of Realtors®, Member of GRI, SRES & ABR. He is a Life Charter Member of The William F. Moran Jr. Museum & Foundation, Inc. and was elected President in 2016, a position he still holds. He was also elected to the Board of Directors for the American Bladesmith Society, is a Charter Member of The Western Maryland Blacksmith Guild, a Charter member of the Myersville Wolfsville Area Historical Society. A member and Vice President for The Wolfsville Ruritan Club.

Robert was born in Washington D.C. but was raised in Frederick County where he calls home. Robert has been married to his best friend Debbie for 30 years. His wife Debbie is a native of Myersville and her family has been in in the upper Middletown Valley for generations. Owning and living on her grandparents’ farm just outside of Myersville, they have raised two sons Caleb & Jacob.

Lifelong members of The Myersville Church of the Brethren both are active in their local church, Robert is Vice Chair of the board and Chair of the Stewards Commission, Debbie is Church Secretary both are in the choir and are also Deacons. On the District level, Robert is the chair of the Auctioneering committee and the Auction manager serving for 31 years coordinating the Mid Atlantic District Disaster Relief Auction held annually at The Carroll County Agricultural Grounds, Westminster Maryland.

Robert’s work career started as an Aviation mechanic where he spent 28 years with the same company. When the company closed, he started his second “Full Time” career in Real Estate and Auctioneering.

Besides Church and Family Debbie and Robert enjoy spending time on the farm, collecting antiques and riding their motorcycles. There is always something to do on the farm. Debbie with her flower gardens and genealogy and Robert anything that is greasy.
